Yosemite map Pete Collins, a 23-year-old leader of the Great Northern Whitewater Rafting Company, Glacier, Montana, was seriously injured when he fell from his horse during the hike with friends. He is paralyzed in both legs after the accident and was hospitalized for several months, as he learns to function without legs.
